Bunny Bait Classmate Easter Gifts

I can't believe it is another holiday already! Time to start thinking about a little "treat" for our classmates and teachers.

This year, we put together "Bunny Bait" for the classmates and "Bunny Poop" for the teachers!

You will need:
  • Easter grass
  • wedding gift tins
  • M&M's
  • dark chocolate pomegranates (or any chocolate covered candy that will look like poop)
  • raffia
  • tape
  • tags (you can make these, or buy them - I used my Cricut machine to cut out egg shapes)

Put Easter grass inside the tin and then add the M&M's or chocolate candies. Close the lid and tie the raffia around the tin and add your tag!

Target, Walmart and Michaels have these in the wedding aisle.

I love the crinkle Easter grass!

You can find raffia in any craft section - might be kept towards flower "stuff".
These are the classmate tins put together! Aren't they so cute!

I used my Cricut to cut these out and I wrote "Bunny Bait" on them and my child's name.

Wrapped them with raffia and added the egg tag! Very spring and Eastery!

This is what I used for my "Bunny Poop".

I added the grass and then laid in my "poop" - tied with raffia.

Added the egg tag that said, "Bunny Poop". The teachers will get a kick out of these!

Another St. Patrick's Day Gift for Classmates

Another great post to say that you have to get creative with post-holiday clearance because you can use it for upcoming holidays!

We put together my son's St. Patrick's Day "gift" for his classmates. After Valentines Day, I picked up bags of helicopters on clearance at Target.

For his classmates, I typed up this saying: "I am "lucky" to spin around third grade with you! Happy St. Patrick's Day! From: Landen"

We cut them out and stapled them onto green paper. Then we took the strips of paper and taped them onto the helicopters! So easy, very inexpensive and yet so cute!

Classmate Christmas Gifts

Each holiday, I try to put something inexpensive together for my kids to take in and hand out to their classmates. This year for Christmas, they are going to be giving their friends a box of crayons. I think it is about that time of year when the kids are starting to lose a lot of their crayons or they are broken. And, I think nothing beats a new box of crayons! ;0) Anyway, a few months back, Toys R Us had the crayons on sale for 25 cents a box! I stocked up! I bought enough for each classroom and then a few extra to have on hand for my kids. So, all it cost me for the gifts for two classrooms was $9.25! That is a deal. I wrapped them up and then added a little tag that said: "Have a bright and colorful Christmas!:

Easter Smores for Classmate Gifts

We have seen these over the years and this year, we decided to make these for the classmates. You will need: PEEPS, Graham Crackers, Chocolate Bars, Snack Bag

Put two graham crackers halves in a bag with a PEEP and a chocolate bar. Close the bag with a twisty tie. We used Easter bags for this gift. I printed off the directions for the smores and made it into a little tag for the gifts. This is what the tags said:
To one of my favorite PEEPS:

Place chocolate on graham cracker half. Place PEEP on top of
chocolate. Microwave for 10-15 seconds. Top with other graham cracker half and ENJOY!
HAPPY EASTER!
~Landen

For my daughter, I printed it off in pink and then obviously added her name at the bottom.
